Sima Mohammadi holds a medical degree (MD) and is currently a researcher in pharmacoepidemiology and real-world evidence at University Medical Center Utrecht and VAC4EU. She is in the final year of her PhD at the Department of Data Science and Biostatistics at UMC Utrecht. Her doctoral research focuses on the development and semantic harmonization of clinical outcomes across European healthcare databases. She contributes to methodological research on outcome ascertainment, phenotype validation, and the use of routinely collected healthcare data in vaccine safety and effectiveness studies. Her work aims to improve the consistency, transparency, and validity of clinical outcome identification in multi-database studies.
