Dear Colleagues,

 

We are pleased to announce you the opening of Call for Posters for oral presentation related to the topics of the Avoiding Antimicrobial Resistance: Veterinary Use of Phages for Prevention, Therapy and Control of Bacterial Infections virtual meeting.

 

This meeting will be held virtually, on November 19-20, 2024.

 

The call for posters is an opportunity for individuals and teams to showcase the latest knowledge, potential solutions and innovations to support research into development of phages as an additional tool to reduce AMR and as a therapeutic tool for individual/herd treatment of resistant bacterial infections.

 

TOPICS OF INTEREST: 

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Topics of the meeting
  • Research & Development for Phage-based products

 

Posters will be displayed in PowerPoint format and the authors will have 5 minutes to present live during the "Poster Session". All of the poster authors are required to register, attend and present the poster at the conference. The poster will also by displayed in the e-book of the meeting, published on the meeting website.

 

SUBMISSION PROCESS:

This call for posters is open to all scientific community. It is addressed to all professionals promoting and working on phages development and production, universities, companies, etc.

The deadline for submitting posters is September 16, 2024. The results of the selection process will be communicated to all applicants by the end of September.

Authors of accepted posters are requested to design in English and send their posters in PowerPoint format to secretariat@iabs.org , indicating which topic area they would like to be considered for.

 

 

SELECTION PROCESS:

Submitted posters will undergo a thorough selection process carried out by meeting chairs.

Key selection criteria will be clarity, relevance, timeliness, novelty and originality.

Access to meeting’s slides is given to meeting’s participants for a period of 4 weeks after the meeting.
Login and password are sent by email to participants right after the meeting.
Afterwards the slides are only accessible to IABS members, using their Member Login and Password.
