We are pleased to announce you the opening of Call for Posters related to the topics of the Globally Harmonized Specifications Workshop: Implementing A Patient-Centric Control Strategy.
The call for posters is an opportunity for individuals and teams to showcase the latest knowledge, potential solutions, and innovations to support the development of patient-centric product specifications, enhance global harmonization efforts, and optimize quality strategies across different product modalities.
TOPICS OF INTEREST
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to the following:
- Tools and methodologies providing insight into the safety and efficacy of a product
- Regulatory case studies incorporating patient-centric aspects
- Opportunities and strategies for submitting dossiers that:
- Rely on patient-focused evaluations for defining Critical Quality Attributes (CQAs).
- Use patient-centered data to establish acceptance criteria for biologic products.
- Modalities of interest:
- Vaccines
- Biotherapeutics
- Cell & Gene Therapies
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The poster will be displayed at the meeting venue, and in the e-book, available on the meeting website closer to the workshop.
Authors of accepted posters are requested to register to the workshop.
The printing format of the poster should be either A1 (594 x 841mm) or A2 (420 x 594 mm).
SUBMISSION
Deadline for submission: May 21, 2025
Results: May 31, 2025
Authors of accepted posters are requested to design in English and send their posters in PowerPoint format to secretariat@iabs.org .
SELECTION
Submitted posters will undergo a thorough selection process carried out by meeting chairs.
Key selection criteria will be clarity, relevance, timeliness, novelty and originality.
Access to meeting’s slides is given to meeting’s participants for a period of 4 weeks after the meeting.
Login and password are sent by email to participants right after the meeting.
Afterwards the slides are only accessible to IABS members, using their Member Login and Password.

- To foster evidence-based Science as the standard for improving and ensuring the quality and the safety of biological products
- To share scientific advancements and innovative regulatory solutions through our journal “Biologicals”.
PUBLICATIONS
Reports and proceedings of IABS conferences and workshops appear in its journal Biologicals, published by Elsevier.
